Pioneer Facility Services is committed to achieving the principles of health and safety in our workplace, we recognise our moral and legal responsibility to provide a safe and healthy work environment for workers, contractors, customers and visitors. This commitment also extends to ensuring that our operations and activities are carried out in compliance with relevant work health and safety laws, regulations, codes of practice and standards.

We ensure that audits of the company’s health and safety activities (including policies, procedures, and other documentation) are carried out regularly, and reviewed at least annually. We are committed to ensuring systematic continuous improvement by adopting and applying the principles of continuous improvement in our operations, health and safety management systems, the training and competency of workers, and consultation with all relevant stakeholders.

We strive to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health and safety functions and resources through the use of the continuous improvement systems such as: Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) process. To achieve this, we will:

• Set health and safety objectives and targets in conformity with the Work, Health and Safety Policy
• Establish, assess and review the effectiveness of procedures to achieve those objectives and targets
• Achieve conformance with Work, Health and Safety Policy objectives and targets
• Document processes to demonstrate continuous improvement to others
